Slow Art is a piece that came about after I had my daughter. It felt as though time was evaporating. I use drawings that take minutes or seconds to complete, the lines being without thought or process. I then stitch them which takes days. Following the journey that the line took is monotonous, repetitive but also poetic and beautiful. This slowing down of time allows me to contemplate and reflect upon the original moment or journey.
